Dylan, Malcolm, Elisabeth Pounds, Ryan, Michael, and Katie will be traveling to San Antonio to participate in the Region Competition. |

The Anderson High School Tennis Team Banquet will be held at St. Johns Methodist Church 2140 Allandale Road on Saturday April 25 from 6:00 pm ~ 8:30 pm. |

Anderson Boys Take First Place in District
The Anderson Varsity Boys Tennis Team took first place at District! As Coach Loeffler put it, Anderson Tennis will get a District Champion banner in the gym. Congratulations to the entire Varsity team, this is beyond huge.
Congratulations to the following players who placed individually -
- Dylan Reed and Malcolm Peace - 2nd place Boys Doubles
- Elisabeth Pounds and Ryan Kristek - 2nd place Mixed Doubles
- Katie Garrison and Michael Liu - 4th place Mixed Doubles
- Gaby Cook and Christine Demyers - 3rd place Girls Doubles
- Ellen Wilkes and Sasha Ponomoreva - 4th place Girls Doubles
Anderson Varsity Players Sign Letter of Intent
We are proud to report that 2 Anderson tennis players signed National Letter of Intents to play Division I collegiate tennis Thursday April 9, 2009. Dylan signed to play at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and Malcolm signed to play at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. News 8 came out and did a short interview with the boys after we had the signing event.
Anderson JV District Tournament Results
We had 18 players participate in the Spring JV District Tournament at UT Intramural Courts. The highlights were:
- Gordon Peace - Boys singles champion
- Krishna Kapoor & Andrew Levitan - Boys doubles champions
- Serena Zadoo - Girls singles 4th place
